Mapcade has no accounts, no cookies and no ads. We do not collect your name, email or location.
On your device
Your progress (level, XP, streak, results, chosen language and map style) and the pictures of your recent sets are
saved in your browser's storage on your device. They stay there. Clearing the site's data in your browser deletes them.
Sent to our server
- When you finish a round or a set of a daily game, its score is sent with the game and the date
(for example "Whose Flag?, 2026-10-23, round 2: 50 points"). Only these numbers are kept, added to a count of how
everyone scored, so the game can show how you did compared with other players. Nothing that identifies you is sent
or kept with them.
- Anonymous usage counts: once a day, that the game was opened and how many days have passed since your device
first opened it (for example "opened today, day 7"); and when you finish a set, which game and what kind (daily,
endless). The server only adds these up per day, so we can see how many people play and which games they like.
No id, cookie or anything else that tells players apart is sent or kept.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits (pages, countries, browsers) without cookies and without
tracking you across sites.
- Multiplayer rooms (when they are switched on) use the name you type, only for the people in that room, and delete
the room after a few hours.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare handles technical data such as your IP address to
deliver the pages and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Changes
If we add advertising, this page will say what it collects before it starts.
